SINGLE TOWER DESICCANT DRYERS

Single tower desiccant dryers prevent moisture contamination by suppressing the pressure dew point by 20°F or more at inlet air temperatures of 100°F. Moisture is removed from the air as it passes through a bed of desiccant. Single tower dryers are the most versatile and cost-effective dyers manufactured today. Initial investment is small. Operation is energy-efficient; no external power source is necessary. Installation is simple and easy. And, since they can be installed indoors or out, these air dryers are very adaptable to changing conditions. Standard models are available from 7 to 16,000 SCFM. Special high pressure models are available on request.

REGENERATIVE DESICCANT DRYERS

Regenerative desiccant dryers supply the best possible protection for pneumatic instrumentation or sensitive process air. Twin towers containing special desiccants adsorb moisture. While one tower is in a drying cycle, wet desiccant in the other tower is regenerated. Heatless Dryers, from 10 to 5000 SCFM, are designed for simplicity and low initial cost. Internally Heated Dryers, from 150 through 3000 SCFM, provide dry air through the most efficient use of convection, conduction, and radiant heat. Externally heated, blower purge & exhaust purge dryers, from 350 through 10,000 SCFM, process large volumes of air economically.

ADSORBENT DESICCANT

Van Air Systems offers a wide selection of adsorbent desiccant. From activated alumina to molecular sieve, we have the adsorbent desiccant for your dehydration needs. The large surface area of the activated alumina bead maximizes the adsorption of moisture vapor. Van Air silica gel beads, available in indicating and non-indicating form, are of uniform size that contain an immense network of inter-connecting microscopic pores. Van Air molecular sieve adsorbent desiccant is capable of adsorbing water molecules over a much wider range of temperatures than any other desiccant material.

ABSORBENT DESICCANT

Van Air Systems is the leading manufacturer of tableted absorbent desiccants used for air dehydration. Our desiccant formulas are designed for a wide range of operating conditions and dew point requirements. Dry-O-Lite, SP (Special Purpose), HPD (High Performance) and Max Performance 10BF absorbent deliquescent desiccants are available to handle virtually any application. Remove sufficient moisture to establish 10% – 33% RH in the air line.

AFTERCOOLERS

Compressed air is hot and laden with moisture as it leaves the compressor. Van Air aftercoolers rapidly cool this hot compressed air to reduce the moisture load on downstream equipment. This results in the most efficient operation of Van Air equipment.

COMPRESSED AIR FILTERS

Van Air filters protect compressed air dryers, equipment, instrumentation and processes by removing compressor oils, dirt, rust and other types of contaminants. With Van Air filters, your air system and pneumatic equipment will operate trouble free. Flow capacities are available in a complete range from 15 to 20,000 SCFM at 100 PSIG. Pressures up to 5000 PSIG are available. Ten filtration grades are available in three categories: oil removal, particle removal, vapor removal.

DRAIN VALVES

PORTABLE DESICCANT AIR DRYER

The Blast Pak is a single tower deliquescent drying package with mounted aftercooler and filter and welded to a forklift skid, allowing maximum portability for mobile drying applications. These portable desiccant dryer systems can be easily lifted on the back of a truck or trailer and moved about within a plant or worksite.
